Sheri Berg

Au.D.

Dr. Berg received her Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry in 2007. She completed her undergraduate coursework and received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin in 1999 where she was on the Dean’s List. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings such as ENT practice and hospital. She has been practicing audiology for nine years. Dr. Berg is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology. She is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Berg is also a Clinical Supervisor for numerous universities for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.

Alissa Claar

Au.D.

Dr. Claar received her Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2007, where she graduated with Honors. She completed her undergraduate coursework in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Pennsylvania State University in 2003. She completed her fourth year Doctoral Clinical Externship with Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida. She accepted the invitation to become part of the clinical diagnostic team at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida at the completion of her fourth year Externship. Dr. Claar is certified with Neuromonics tinnitus management, and she was involved in developing the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Center at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida.

Melodi Fehl

M.A., CCC-A

Melodi graduated with her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Florida in 1984, where she also completed her undergraduate coursework. Melodi has been a member of the clinical diagnostic team at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida since 1985. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology. She is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Florida American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Melodi is also certified by Neuromonics tinnitus management and Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, and she was involved in developing the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Center at Doctors’ Hearing and Balance Centers of Ear, Nose and Throat Associates of South Florida. Melodi is also a Clinical Supervisor for numerous universities for both third and fourth year students in the Doctor of Audiology Program.

Trisha Formichetti

Au.D.

Dr. Formichetti received her Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in 2003, where she graduated with Honors. She completed her undergraduate coursework at the Florida International University in 1996. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings such as ENT practice, hospital, a pediatric audiology group, and the Salvation Army. She has been practicing audiology for five years. As a Doctoral student, Dr. Formichetti served on the Board for the National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology. She was also recognized with the National Officer Leadership Scholarship in 2000.
