Cristin R. Richards, Au.D., F-AAA, has been working in the field of audiology since September of 1998 when she “rode on the bus”, performing mobile hearing screenings in northern California for Sacramento Hearing Services center (now Agency for Hearing). She performed thousands of hearing screenings for children ages 5 through 18 in the northern California school systems. After graduating from California State University at Sacramento in 2000 she moved to the east coast and continued learning and expanding her professional skills with several seminars and eventually admission to a doctoral program in Audiology at Salus University (formerly Pennsylvania College of Optometry) and was conferred the title of Doctor of Audiology in April of 2010. She currently specializes in amplification and the diagnosis and remediation of central auditory processing disorders. She believes that hearing is essential to communication in families, and in the community at large.
